Engineers Change Mod/Materials to other Ship

Hello there,

soo....I engineered the 6A FSD of my Anaconda, but now I want to use an other ship that has an A7 FSD. I know that I can exchange modified Modules, but can I store modifications or something? Or do I have to start all over again, collecting parts and stuff?

How can I get my FSD A6 mods to my A7 FSD?

No, you can't.:(
Mods are stuck to that item, you can remove them, but they are lost if you do that.

*Update*

IT IS possible without any problems. The gathered materials will carry over from one ship to another. All I had to do was visit the Ol' Fish Lady and get my FSD upgraded with the already available materials.

Well, ya... all of your materials & data are magically stored with your Cmdr. Your OP was confusing - it sounded like you wanted to store or transfer the modification you made on a module.

Sorry for that. But the result would have been the same: get the mod on a new module[big grin]
