I'm sure there have been posts asking FDev to gives us options to re-color specific parts of the HUD. I would like the ability to custom color individual sections of the HUD.
One item that would be very helpful is to change the color of the throttle when using reverse thrusters. This gives a quick visual clue when in the thick of things as to which direction my ship thrusters are pushing me. My HOTAS is set to toggle the direction of thrust when a specific button is pressed. I have played different ways and find this the easiest for my style of play. This does make it difficult to quickly determine direction of thrust when using full throttle either forward or reverse and switching between them.
