Changed my undergarments here!

I had an interesting find and a 'brown trousers' moment when I dropped into this system whilst looking for Black Holes on the way to Colonia

There were actually FOUR Neutron Stars comprising the system.

Two of the NS were very close and quite close to the main NSD entry point. When there is another star close by, the NS seems to have a much more active plume. When that 'other star' is two more NS then navigating close to tag each (as one does) was interesting ;)

A bit more evidence.
Not sure how rare this is, but it a definite first for me ... :)

4 is on my bucket list. I have seen 3.

Here's my underwear change shots from a couple of weeks ago. I bounced off the F star coming in.
It was nasty. Really Nasty.
Orbital periods were 0.1 & 0.8 days ;)

Nice pictures, Commander. In some ways a NS close to a sun is worse for navigation to avoid being fried than two NS close together.
I chickened out of flying through the diamond space between them ( still mending wounds from a terminal tussle with a White Dwarf on my last attempt to get to Colonia!).
The orbital periods for the 2 close NS were both .2 days.

I like the variety of neutrons, you get the ones with small jet cones which is just like fuel scooping a star, then you get the massive cones where it's like holding on to a tigers tail!!

Nice find
