Changes to Binding Controls Lost after Game Exit.

Whenever I make a change to my bindings in the Controls panel - it changes for that current session only - its not 'sticky' i.e. saved even though the change has been applied to the Control Panel.

Any idea what's wrong here please? It's rather annoying and has been on-going for a few months now.

Edit: I'm in EDH.

This can be caused by having copies of your binds file in the same directory (it confuses the game as the game reads the "name" in line 2 of the file).

Quick link to binds directory: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings


Save copies / backups elsewhere and also do rename your binds as per the following link (don't just change the file name):

keybindings can reset if you visit the control section without one of your usual devices used to play the game ie hotas , xbox pad etc not plugged in or at that present moment is undetected by windows as it thinks your just using keyboard and mouse it simply rewrites your binds for you...

Thanks! I moved all other binds files to a backup folder and it's fine now
