Changing resolution every time I start

Every time I fire up ED the display resolution has reverted to 1920x1080. I prefer to play in 1920x800. This never happened before, so something has changed. Any suggestion on how to get the game to play at 1920x800 every time it's run, rather than always having to go into the graphics settings, would be appreciated.

Try this... type run in the start menu, enter "AppData" and hit enter... open this file with notepad...

...\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\DisplaySettings.xml

change the settings to what you're looking for, save and close. Right click the file, go to properties, change file to read only.

Thanks Vystein, but it's already set at 1920x800. The game loads with 1920x800 in the graphics resolution option screen, but I think it's only starting up at 1600x900.
