Changing ships having to get rid of limpets is a pain

Hello
I wish that when you change ships from one to another that you can do so without having to sell your collector
limpets every time then buy some new ones for the other ship that I own that has a limpet collector as one of its
modules and lots of cargo space to store them.

Is there any plans to update the game so we don't have to do this every time as it is very annoying and time consuming?

I'm sorry if this has been posted as a topic before but you can change ships with other cargo but not limpets.

Anyway. I hope you are all having a nice weekend if you are not having to work CMDRs.

I feel your pain. I get attached to them also.
It breaks my heart every time one of the little blighters expires. Working so hard for me like a fetch dog and then croaks.

Selling back to the station hurts even more, Them looking back at me with those big puppy eyes as i turn my back and walk away.

its a pain like annoying not that I care about them. funny though, people on these forums have made my day a lot since I joined it.

No need to change title ..

It would be a nice QoL change. Not a priority one for limpets (not a massive hardship) but there's more reason to ask for the same, when transferring rare cargos you're carrying. Not the first time it's been suggested, and a valid request imo. Pretty sure it will be on the lists somehwere, though a little a way off (QoL as opposed to core essential).

Odd, wasn't there something in the 2.3 Patchnotes regarding Ship changes w/ Limpets?

Found it in the V2.3.00 Patchnotes :

Weapons

• Limpets will now show up in the restock menu while the players has them in the ships cargo allowing them to be sold even when the player has no limpet controller installed

The way I read it though, is that one might actually still have to de-stock and then re-stock them before changing Ships?. Only the need for an installed Limpet Controller vanished.
Thus, direct Ship-Ship transfer of leftover Limpets might still not work as per design.
(I guess it's still tied to the original - now obsolete - old Limpet Controller Requirement, as they didn't want Players to end up stuck with Limpets they would be forced to abandon - or do that hula-hoop by temporarily installing such a Limpet Controller)

I'm sure that the other posters were just having a joke and I can see that and they made me laugh.
I can see it is not a big priority as it is not a game breaker and just an incovience as you say.
