Changing the Cockpit time to your local time?

How do you change the in game clock on your dashboard.Mine is set to UK time?
Would like to set it +1 GMT.

I thought it might be linked to your account details or Forum user data but they're all set to GMT +1.
So there must be another method.

I think the idea is that the clock is the same for everyone. Makes it easier to meet up at a given (in-game) time without mixing up timezones.

I would love to have it set to my region as it's pretty handy to know when it's time for bed or time to go do something else.
N.P I'll just keep adding 2 hrs to it.

I have an extra instrument in my cockpit: it's called a wall clock. ;)

I think it's important to keep a synchronous-between-all-players galactic time that's prominent, but I think they could also add an option in the options that adds a second clock under that one that you can configure. From a roleplaying perspective, it makes sense that you'd want to see both galactic time, as well as time that's local to your home station or planet or whatever.

I hadn't even noticed there was a clock in cockpit... mind you I have a LARGE desktop clock on my second monitor, a wall clock on the shelf above that, the X52 pro throttle also shows the time and I am wearing a watch.

oh and my mobile phone is on the desk to my right and that has the time on it's standby screen....
I think I'm all clocked out :D
