I am sure there is a post about this somewhere. I tried to do a search on how to change the cockpit UI colors but they want me to find this The file is located in your installation folder: E:\Program Files (x86)\Frontier\EDLaunch\Products\FORC-FDEV-D-1002 (obviously change drive letter to suit your pc) the file is called GraphicsConfiguration and I cannot find it on my computer. I have played ED before, when it first came out and you cold change the ini file, but now that I have returned to play some more I am not sure how to go about this with all of the updates. Can anyone help me please?

The file location is not in the main install path, it's in the hidden Appdata > Local folders area.
The thread I linked you to has more links to explanations (including the particulars about finding the right file), the arkku website, and other stuff that you'll need - as well as current HUD configurations, with pictures, that players are using and that are known to work decently well with the 2.1 faces.
