Changing weather and time

Changing weather and time got removed "by Design" in all but sandbox mode in the newest update at least on PS5. Why? I do not want to build in complete darkness or wait for nice weather to take some pics. Changes my view on buying future content. Who knows what is the next "Design decission". My friends are not happy about it either.

I'm not sure if it's the same on the console but in the PC version you can change your zoo's opening hours in all modes. Choose something like 7 am to 5 pm and that way you can always build in the daytime. No such solution for the rain but at least no more night building. I guess if you choose desert or grassland maps you avoid the rain usually.

Thanks. Yes, you can change opening times. But that also means less guest, money and all. I will do that, at least until the next decission "by Design". See, on PS5 there are a few trophies (archievements) bound to franchise mode. It makes things just more uncomfortable.

Since this is a single player game on first sight I couldn't understand this decissions, restrictions for us.

No new Decission. Just a Bug Fix because it was always the Case that you can obviously only change it in Sandbox

Changing the opening hours does not affect guest numbers, money or anything other than how much light there is.
