So we all from Channel5 are working on a scenario contest for the end of January. Here's my entry, a Hong-Kong based city, probably situated somewhere near the chinese coast. I proudly present
Rainbow City, Jewel of the east!
But, what... No!!! What is happening?
It's all over the news on Channel5 : Rainbow City Was Destroyed Tonight By A Giant Kombat Wombat! The Shopping District has imploded, a giant crater swallowed shops and restaurants. Unicorn Beach has been flooded by massives waves and the Wombat trampled all over it, severing the road leading to the Rainbow Coaster. You need to rebuild and fast : a cruise ship full with tourists has already docked in the harbor.
First of all, you need to replace your employes, since everyone fled during the attack. And try and limit any criminal activities too.
Then you will need to rebuild, and the city has asked you to design a real theme park instead of just a shopping district. You will need coasters and attractions, and there's lots to learn about them for you.
You will prove your worth as a park engineer if your visitors stay happy and you are able to repay all your debts.
You will find help in the City Hall : every blueprint ever used in Rainbow City has been stored on file and the Town Council has granted you access to those collections.
