Chaos in the CZ

So I was hopping to system to system looking for a better RES site when I landed in a system with conflict zones. First time stumbling onto those so I was like heck ya lets check this out. I got a viper with shield boosters, SCBs, and decent weapons. Pretty good at power management and got a decent grip of FAoff. I've read about people farming in the CZs and they make a ton so I was pretty stoked. Bout two minutes In I had taken one master python before I was really noticed.... Next thing I know I've gone through most my SCBs, shields are getting hammered... Nothing but lasers and high lvl pythons and Annie's. All pips to shields and boosted till my fsd kicked in. That was nuts... Kudos to you guys who go in there for hours without getting banged up. Guess it's time for the low intensity CZ for me. I'll be back lol

Low intensity zones may actually be more difficult because there are less targets over all, and they tend to gang up on you more often.

don't just jump right in the middle

pick targets that are isolated or groups already engaged with allies. boost away to safety when it gets hairy, pulling some of them away from the pack, finishing them off one by one, go back for more. viper is very good at this.

I tried out my python in low intensity CZ with D6 grade shields and it got blown up before I managed to get away.

Not going there again until I put A6 shields...

Watch your sensors carefully. Too many reds means imminent trouble whatever you're flying. Always keep an eye on other players. If multiple ships are attacking you, check what these ships are before deciding what to do.

Whenever I get blown up in a CZ, I always end up with only myself to blame. It's fun, have some of it.

Chaff and scb are your friend. If doing cz put extra scb. You can spam them all day long. I did make a mistake and my hull went to 56% but that was careless. Im trying a5 shields at mo but was using d6 to get better jump range.
