Who are your favourite characters in the JWE character list - pretty much covers all 4 (maybe 5) films.
Who did you like in books best, films best, acted best, script-written best?
My faves are
Original characters by Michael Chrichton (who also wrote the JP screenplay even though it was not the same as his JP book - bits of the original book were usedas the start of the Lost World film for example)
Muldoon (Bob Peck was astoundingly more believable than a cast of awesome actors)
Sam Neill - the difference between good an 'meh' is Sam Neill - in JP and JP3
Loved how Laura Dern and Ariana Richards were shown as strong - until film made them weak and screamy in JP. Sexism wasn't dead in that era despite Laura Dern's great lines in the film...
Loved JW - in everything but the trained raptors (though anything intelligent can be trained, in theory)
Toby Jones can't do wrong.
Loved Owen Grady / Chris Pratt
Though I loved Bryce Dallas Howard's performance - hated the character... to the end (I think we're supposed to empathise with her at some point)
BDWong - what can you say - I love him in JP - you'd like to invite him for a colleague's BBQ
Hate him now - his character Dr. Wu of course...
Not sure on the change in direction but he acts it well and unlike other actors involved he's had to change tack using the same character and so that is refreshing.
