CHAT BOX IS ANNOYING (2) EASY FIX: (SOLVED!!!)

just because i push 2 doesnt mean i want to start typing.
maybe i just want to look at chat logs. maybe i didnt even mean to push it, and now its just being a pain in my ass.

HOW ABOUT INSTEAD OF INSTA CHAT when pushing 2, it says SEND MESSAGE and you have to push SPACEBAR to activate it and start typing?
otherwise it goes away if you push literally ANYTHING ELSE. (including 2 again, like how the rest of hud acts)

Have to agree that the whole comms panel seems 'clunky' at present. Anything would be an improvement (well almost anything).

There's a setting in the options to make it NOT default to the chat box.

It would be better IMO if that was the default, but there you go
