HI all,

I am new to multiplayer games so please excuse my ignorance on this subject!

I am getting a stereo headset with a mic - how do I use this in ED?

How do I chat to other players - also what do I need to voice control ED?

As I said new to this multi-player malarkey!

I cant help you with the chatting bit yet as I have not used it.But as for voice control,I got "Voiceattack" like many others,and I was imputing commands within minutes,including replies.

And I have never used anything like it before now either.

Voice and text chat currently in the game is very frustrating, unless you already have some people you know playing who you can coordinate. But if you want to try it, you have to first target their ship, then open the comms menu, and choose which action you want to take. Then if you're really lucky, they might reply. Usually it's a time factor, it takes so long to do all that, especially in super cruise, that they pop out before you can send it or they can respond.
