No, not cheap stations. I mean a cheap radio box. (the technical term eludes me)
Allow me to explain why I'm making this thread.
I've spent the last weekend at my grandparent's house to look after the cats. While I was away from home, I decided to stay with get a cheap radio. Like, a fiver from Asda. But not for me. Actually it was for my dog, who I was obviously away from. I've played classical music for a while on my phone, whilst we sleep. She likes it, and at this point she clearly finds the music comforting. Which is what I want for her because she is an old girl.
Anyway... Why do I love the the really crap sound this five quid radio makes? In terms of sound quality, my phone is miles better. But... I just prefer the sound by the radio. Could it just be nostalgia? I'm a 90's baby...
I just find it interesting that I like a sound so much, despite it being objectively low quality.
