Cheap Shuttle, something that costs like 100cr

There needs to be a shuttle of some kind available so you can fly out to stations that you leave you other ships at, that you can buy and sell so you can get from place to place so you can round up your ships.

It should basically be a giant jumpdrive with wings, non customizeable, and completely disposable, you buy it for 100cr, and sell it for 100 cr, or maybe even nothing at all

it shouldn't have a discovery scanner, so you cant explore with it, no weapons or cargo bay, interdiction proof to combat the fact that it doesn't have weapons.

the only thing it should have is a decent jump drive so you can get from place to place quickly, like a hard limit of 12LY. and available at all stations with a shipyard.

why not just use a sidewinder and slap a nice big fat FSD and a fuel scoop in it? that's what I do and it works very well.

But yes - shuttles or travelling vessels should be no problem or not ??
btw - ccp and frontier should visit each other and they should talk - they should get friends - they should get a family

Well, if you have a selection of ships then buying a Sidewinder or even an Eagle and selling it where your ship is stored isn't going to cost you much. Don't forget, if you uprate the FSD of the Sidewinder or Eagle you can sell it at the destination and get most of your money back!

Currently I own the original Sidewinder - the exchange rate said 0cr so I left it there - a fairly well kitted out Cobra, and a Lakon type 6 that is used for haulage just to increase the credits! I'm aiming for the Asp as well, kitted out as pure explorer. That way, I get to choose what to do.

The Cobra I use for bounty hunting, even more fun when three of us get together, and missions - I'm working my way up the Empire ladder at the moment. Also, I pick up any trading opportunities I see en route with the Cobra. At least it means all running around is paid for, and my credits are increasing as well!

It never ceases to amaze me how much money comes in from the basic discovery scanner I have fitted on the Cobra. Every so often I check my cartographers screen to find I may have another 10k or so to collect - and that's without me having done anything! If I think about it when one of the '1 new astronomical object discovered' notice pops up, I do a full scan with it.

The real 'Discovery money' is to be made with the really big discovery scanner and detailed surface scanner you can fit to the Asp. However, that's still a pipe dream right now, a fair bit of hauling still needed to get the credits for THAT! Don't get me wrong, doing the discovery thing isn't going to make you rich quick, but it will bring in some serious cash IF YOU PUT THE EFFORT INTO DISCOVERING! This means jumping off and away from the inhabited systems and finding new planetary systems, binary stars, nebulae (I think?) and black holes .... and I'm sure there's plenty more stuff too. That's the beauty of this game, it's there if you want it!

because the sidewinder isn't available at all star bases and is usually 30k, i'm talking something cheaper then that, something that is used solely to get you to your ships.

I like the idea of having multiple ships, but as it stands you have to leave a ship to get a ship, I would like to be able to take a el cheapo shuttle that I can just sell back to the station with out any worry.
