cheapest multi crew ship with slf?

I'm thinkin' Federal Gunship. It is rank locked, though.

T9 would probably be next. Or the Beluga, I forget which is cheaper. They're both around 80 mil.

Without multicrew

keelback (very cheap)

With multicrew in order of price (once outfitted sensibly)

Drop ship
T9
Beluga
Anaconda
Corvette / cutter

does the federal gunship also have capability??, I dunno I don't use fighters....

cant it just do one in the slf and one in the keelback?
Since it only has one seat, that'd be more like a wing, than multicrew, aha. Wonder if we'll ever get dedicated carrier ships that can launch like 6 fighters, but don't have weapons of their own? That'd be fun. Or maybe like two small hardpoints, so you can fit healing beam laser turets on it for your fighters.

Thanks people. I'm going to have to get saving for a t9 then. As I can not seem to catch a break with federation rank up missions, I either can't find them or fail them. Due to poor combat skills.

They do occasionally offer 'Data delivery for naval progression, bro.' Missions. I usually pass on the difficult rank up ones.

Try fed systems that are in a boom or expansion state. You'll see more courier and trade missions there.

It's worth doing the fed aligned stuff. FGS is at a pretty low rank and is a lot of fun to fly. If you want a T9, then it should be because you want a T9. Getting it just for the multicrew is a lot of effort for little gain.

I got a FGS, engineered and fitted it with a large PA for me, Twin fighter bay, 2 Med Beam and 4 Multi Cannons Turrets for Multicrew. Great fun!
