Buildings & Attractions Checkpoints and Triggers in our tours.

I was thinking how cool it would be if we could apply checkpoints and triggers to our tours. They will be placeable on our tour path that would affect the duration and experience of the tour.

One checkpoint that comes to mind is a simple pause. You could place these in paths you would like the vehicle to stop for a while. This would allow for more exposure to dinosaurs and learn about them before rushing off to our next stop. So you could place these next to feeding locations, water locations, and heavily trafficked locations.

Another idea is a triggered feeder. Remember in the first movie on how the truck would stop by the Trex exhibit and a goat is dispensed to attract the large carnivore?

This would be really cool for our carnivore exhibits where we want the carnivores to be able to display their attack on the goat for our guests. We could place 2 things, the feeder to be triggered and the trigger itself onto the path. When the vehicle comes to the trigger, it will pause and a goat will pop up from the feeder, but it is tied into position. This will allow for the carnivore to come and kill the goat or hilariously have a no show like the origional movie and have the vehicle move on with the tour.

Also, decorations would be cool! We could have themed gates on the tour, or nice decorated signs that we could customize. It will visually show a herbivore or carnivore symbol to let guests know what they are in for this tour.

I like your idea. Maybe this could be done on the gyrosphere instead of the tour truck. Because I think the Tour Truck was in the movie was more of a speedy, entertaining, upclose look at the Dinosaurs without the Disturbing Glass of the Gyrosphere, but once again, its up to the devs.

This is an excellent idea. I have a few scenic spots that would really benefit from having a brief stop on my JT. Also having customizable signs is probably at the top of my wish list right now. Even if it was a separate feature we could place near the gate like on the fencing or ground before it that would be cool but having one ontop of the gate would be ideal.

@STARKILLER04 I thought the option for checkpoints and triggers could be on all tours, mainly as they are optionals, and the more options we have in the game the better.

@jurASSaTHICC SIgns are definitely a great addition if included into the game! I have a bit of nostalgia in the first movie when they enter the part and see a sign with the skull of a dilophosaurus when they are near the exhibit. Hopefully it could come to the game soon 😆

@Aramus418 Interesting... Didn't think of speed as an option. I could imagine acheckpointt where the vehicle could go fast, normal, or pause. This could lead to some interesting tour designs. Thanks for the input! 👍

Well I do love your Idea and I think its great, maybe triggers could be added for both rides, and yes, the more options added, the better. But again, it's mostly up to the devs.
