I do not think anyone has tried that, due to those rather threatening military grade anaconda's sitting around, but could be quite interesting to figure out, I would guess it would hurt system security and such?

Took out two Federal Checkpoints, after that Navy ships are gone.

edit: took all 3 out. Situation is close to civil war, I hope it will weaken the feds !

the Checkpoints reappear as if nothing happened.... Maybe a Dev can explain the mechanic!

If anything, they're a good source of SAV's to destroy to reduce the ruling faction's influence more.
