My new Horizons CMDR found a shiny new Viper Mk 4 waiting for him at Clauss Port.

Just wanted to thank everyone who participated in the CG to give free ships to all new players. A grand gesture that I'm sure will be appreciated by many.

Friend found their gift Viper IV at.. Clauss City, which is an entirely different solar system !

Mine was at Barnard's Star, some 200LY away. I think FD is trying to encourage me to get out and explore more.

Barnard's Star is the one for beta buyers. And it's next door to Sol, so not much of an exploration there.

I don't think I've even been to Sol yet. I started out in a different system, and immediately headed out and away from where all the traffic was to someplace a little less populated.

I visited it on my intra-bubble sight seeing trip. Tried to find the Voyagers (failed!). It's probably worth doing once just to see how it's been done in E:D. I'll visit again when more planets are landable.
