Cheetah social requirements are too low and really weird

Can somebody (ideally a dev ) enlighten me on the reasons why the only acceptable social group for cheetahs is 2M+F?
It doesn't make any sense.

Cheetahs are social cats - they live in coalitions (packs of 5-10 are observed regularly).
Also, they separate into same gender coalitions, usually (i.e. there are packs of male cheetahs - usually family tied - a̶n̶d̶ ̶p̶a̶c̶k̶s̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶f̶e̶m̶a̶l̶e̶s̶ ) they come together for breeding purposes and then the mother with her litter tends to separate and care for her cubs on her own until they're old enough (2-3 years) to either form their own coalition or join existing ones.

Anyway. My point is - it would make sense if they needed to be separated by gender in social groups, let's say 2-5 each and if you wanted to breed them you'd add a female to the male group or put 1M+1F somewhere safe for breeding, returning the male to his coalition once it's done.

As it stands the cheetahs has social group cap at 3 and only these variations are possible - 2M, 3M, 1M+1F and 2M+1F. There is no way to have more than 3 cheetahs, and there is no way to have more than 1 female in a habitat. (I mean, you can, but after a while you can play checkers on their hide)

So my suggestions:
Easy, gamey one - Increase the social group to at least 5 a̶n̶d̶ ̶l̶e̶t̶ ̶u̶s̶ ̶h̶a̶v̶e̶ ̶m̶o̶r̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶n̶ ̶o̶n̶e̶ ̶f̶e̶m̶a̶l̶e̶

R̶e̶a̶l̶i̶s̶t̶i̶c̶ ̶o̶n̶e̶ ̶-̶ ̶O̶n̶l̶y̶ ̶a̶l̶l̶o̶w̶ ̶s̶a̶m̶e̶-̶g̶e̶n̶d̶e̶r̶e̶d̶ ̶g̶r̶o̶u̶p̶s̶ ̶w̶i̶t̶h̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶c̶a̶p̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶a̶t̶ ̶l̶e̶a̶s̶t̶ ̶5̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶1̶M̶+̶1̶F̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶b̶r̶e̶e̶d̶i̶n̶g̶.̶
Thoughts?

Males do indeed live in coalitions, though 10 is a stretch, I don't think this is seen, if ever, and if it is, it's rare. Normally, they are made up of brothers who have left their mother, so typically 2-5, the norm is 2-3, So it would be nice to keep 2-5 male cheetahs together.

Females, however, do not do this, and are always solitary, they do not form coalitions

Having worked at a zoo (as I'm doing my zoology degree) we have kept male cheetahs together, we currently have 3 brothers living together, and our females (we have 2) live separately

Hmm, seems I was mistaken (most of my cheetah knowledge comes from 70s and 80s, not that it is an excuse and I could have used google to check on things.)
Yes, in that case it probably doesn't make sense to force more females to coexist in a habitat, although in my zoo there are six cheetahs living happily together, four males and two females.
So yeah, I will keep my demand on increasing the overall social group to 5, though I do retract my suggestion about females.

Thanks for correcting me. :)
