Chemical processors.

Hey cmdrs

I know this question has been asked a lot of times over the past few years but I need to ask where these processors are exactly. I've searched everywhere online and nearly all the solutions are to go to Davs Hope then log out and then log back in again. I don't want to play the game like that. I don't mind the flying around trying to find them but I'm not totally sure if I'm going the right way about finding them.

From what I've picked up online, high security systems with large population is the way to go, searching for signals, some have even recommended resource extraction sites. I've done all this in different systems and I can't seem to find a single one for hours. Apparently they are a common item which has led me to believe that I may be searching all wrong.

I went to each and every signal in a system and left with nothing. I was think maybe the threat level may have something to do with it. I mean, most of them are always 0. I thought, maybe, if I entered a higher threat zone perhaps my chances would be greater?

I don't know. I gave up searching and trying find out by googling around So I thought I'd ask on here.

Thanks

Since this is a lvl 2 material I suggest visiting a manufactured Materials trader.

If you want to find them yourself I suggest visiting encoded and degraded signal source; The bigger the system with more people the more USS you will find.. And of course always stop for HGE too!

Can also be found in degraded signals in uninhabited systems, for the shortest runs between signals find a system with only a main star, just FSS when you run low on signals.

1. Take a combat capable ship with a hold full of limpets and a collector controller to a high rez (Python or Krait probably best).
2. Follow police around and steal their kills.
3. Release collector limpets and scoop up the goodies.
4+ Rinse and repeat.

You may get some CPs - but if not you should have plenty of mats to trade for them.
Good hunting!

Chemical Processors are in the Pharma Isolators line.

You can find them in Encoded Emissions, Combat Aftermath (0) and the lower end of the line in Degraded Emissions. Pharma Isolators can be found in High Grade Emissions in Outbreak systems. If you want to shoot ships for them, they fall off ships with the "Trade" role, which includes wanted smugglers in DBXs, Kraits, Asps, passenger ships and the Ts.

I'm currently housed in a system with high security with a 1.2 billion population. I currently helped towards a war that happened there. Each time after I've complete a mission, I return to the system and scan the nav beacon, then I'll fly to each signal hoping to find them CP but with no such luck.

HGE? Sorry, I'm still learning this game

Currently in a vulture. I went into a high rez once but I only found wanted Eagles but they never seem to drop them. I read on line that hauler ships carry them. I was flying around trying find a higher threat hoping for a better chance at getting some but no such luck.

Maybe I'm in the wrong system or something?

I'll try this tonight, thanks!!

One good way to get them is to find a tourist beacon (in space, not planet tourist POI) in an anarchy system. Passenger ships count as trade ships and trade ships drop them. You get a constant supply of passenger ships to blow up and harvest.

Bonus: You get to take revenge on all those passenger ships that have spammed comms about wedding vows for years.

This made me laugh hard! Thanks for the tip though commander!

I generally agree with not wanting to log out/in again, but Dav's Hope is the one place I make an exception for that. It is a great circuit, and it's fun to try and complete it as fast as possible. It takes seconds to relog. I start with scanning the beacon then do a loop ending up at the beacon again. It's good fun and you stock up on materials. :)

That's funny. I never thought about the DBX that way. DBX is actually the only small ship I haven't flown. I did size up the DBX for trade, way back when, but I was thinking about ships in more progression terms then and I just thought "use T6" and so on. But at 52T+shield it actually makes a halfway decent small trader alongside the Cobra and Viper. Hits that all-important 46T bar.

IMO DBX primary role is long distance (80LY jump) planetary landings and material trading e.g. guardian sites/crystal shards/Dav's hope/Jameson crash site, and quick trips to material traders. I use it a lot. It really doesn't hold enough cargo to be a trading ship, T6 is cheaper and can hold 100T for trading.

I accidentally acquired a good few Chemical Processors just by trying to complete a cargo mission.

After accepting the mission, I got a message that enemies would be after me. And man were they ever. Just trying to complete two cargo haul missions, and I've had to destroy 3 FDL, and 2 Anaconda. There are at least 2 more Anaconda trying to kill me, still be destroyed (or evaded, yea good luck in T9).

So with the system police helping, these enemy ships go down, and some were dropping Chemical Processors and a good few other G5 rares. I gathered some Exquisite Focus Crystals, and some other G4 materials while waiting for my shields to recharge before jumping into the next interdiction.

Rare drops or not, though, I'm just getting tired of it. I can't complete either cargo mission I've got active now (at least not in the time I've got available to play), and will probably have a few million in penalty and fines for the trouble. And killing the ships just keeps upping my combat rank, and locking me into this cycle deeper.

I guess the millions in losses due to failed missions are the real cost of those rare drops!
