Responded to a call for help to transport survivors from Chiang Prospect in the Jambin system and take them to a nearby rescue ship. When I got to the star port it was actively on fire. I was warned the temperatures were elevated. I went in anyway and immediately my heat went to 160+ I popped all of my heat sinks but before I could land on a pad I had to boost out of the star port. My question is: can anyone give me some advice on how to get in and out of the station without bursting into flames. I'm in an Asp with good heat properties. Thanks
Hmm. Turn off any unnecessary modules?
When you land on the burning station you will immediately be brought into the hanger. This will give you a chance to cool off. My AspX only needed one heat sink launcher, but I might have needed to launch on the way in and on the way out.

I just ride the wave in my asp and take the heat damage then repair it at the rescue ship, You can take a lot of damage before you go boom!
