Is a shame the new Icarus paint pack for the Corvette is not available for the Chieftain.

Agree, the normal colours would be nicer at £3 - £4 mark.

It is very simple: FDev have clearly decided this is the most profitable way of milking the customer base.

There will be a bunch of players with too much money who will do anything not to be in "default" paint for the Chieftain, so this gives their necessary first fix.

A few weeks later, something more interesting will come along - a black paint job? a chrome paint job? a gold paint job?

a few more weeks later, another generic pack will be added - such as a Synth job or a Pirate job

A few weeks/months later if the Chieftain is proving popular, something truly unique might come along.

The aim is to milk the market who will always buy the unique job - and ensure they spend money on the less interesting ones first.

This means a portion of the customer base will pay at least £15 for a chieftain paintjob rather than just £3.

And do you know what? I am one of those victims. I know what they are doing, I know I am wasting my money - and I'll do it anyway. And I tell myself - well it's all in aid of supporting a game I love.

So I do agree with you, I do wish you got your way - but I am sort of resigned to joining the bovine conveyor belt of automatic player-milking... ;-)

The Cobra Nest and Asp Horus packs include different designs, as well as colour combinations. These are the sorts of 'mixed bag' paint packs I'd really like to see more of.

My guess is that they're popular and easy to make.

I have the tactical pack for all my main ships - there's just something about the tactical white, graphite and olive skins.

This, I saw those and would immediately purchase if they had a Vette version... I like the Icarus for sure, but not fitting on what I wanted to name my Vette, or I'd snap one of those up lol.

Also, I do wish they'd implement some sort of slider for vibrance and hue etc, so we had some form of customisation. The Vibrant paint packs aren't very vibrant at all, the red is pants on that and not what I'd consider vibrant at all, one of the best things about GTAV is the paint jobs you can attain for your vehicle, I'm not trying to turn this into GTA of space (although when you think about it, it kinda is in some aspects), but some colour options would make such a big change in how you felt about your ship's individuality.
