Newcomer / Intro Choose different character/player/starter pack ?

Hi,

I started a normal game, but also purchased the "Pirate" pack, which I'd like to try out now. Is there any possibility to change commander, savegame, whatever, I can't find anything about this even after searching a lot in the internet.

Or is there only *one* save slot per account, and when I want to use that pack I have to delete my current character ?
