Choose some animals for me!

Its like the title states, im back home and i plan on finishing my zoo and start a new one next month.
While there still is quite alot of work in my zoo (atleast 15+ hours) it will mostly be polish with the outer borders of the zoo mostly established and only about 10 habitats left to be build with me running out of animals (the masterplan says that i will use all asian animals besides 4 for example)
After then 200+ hours and a lot more experience under my belly, i plan to do a somewhat more realistic approach in propaply a city zoo scenario.

And now where the thread comes into play.
Inspired by darthquells build it zoo i want to ask you guys what animals to use.
Every user can nominate one animal and i will use the first 20-25, maybe more if im a masochist/most liked ones in the zoo and actually take some time and create a masterplan around it.
When i will actually start building the zoo im gonna keep you guys up to date via what did you do in planet zoo today and/or maybe even an own zoo thread if you guys like the idear.
Anyways im excited to hear what im gonna plan around, especally after my last very regional themed zoo.
I hope you guys like the idear, cause damn if not im gonna make quite the fool out of myself.
And if not im just gonna build a zoo for the like 3 people that actually comented and make it the best 3 habitat zoo ever ^^

If you're building a city zoo, which I'm assuming is going to be a classical theme, which I could be wrong, there are so many animals I would suggest that would make great fits. But, since you specified only one animal, I would suggest the Gray Seal. I think that the Gray Seal is the perfect animal for a classical city zoo. I would definitely recommend building a round pool with an island surrounded by water. It's hard to do with the space requirements and the swimming depth requirements but if you play around with it enough, it could work. I did it, and I could definitely upload some pictures of my own seal pool. Anyway, good luck!

Great choices guys, and dont worry i own all the dlc ^^.
Especally like the aardwark and the reindeer, as they were the first animal i used ever and the first i posted about in these forums.
Btw i would like to put a little sponsor plating on the habitats with the username of the person that nominated them.
If you dont want your name in my zoo just tell me and i will leave it out.

Wow, pretty cool.

Ok, my favorite in-game animal. Not sure, I love a lot. But, 2 members chose European/NA animals (gray seal and reindeer) and 3 chose African animals (African penguin, aardvark, meerkat).

Now, imma do an Adrian Monk here and suggest a NA or European animal, so that both are equal😂.

I love gray wolves, so I'd say a wolf.


Otherwise, choose the southern cassowary

Note for myself:
My girlfriend wants peacocks, aggain.
Good thing this will be in sandbox this time.

Oh and i totally agree on the nyala, the only antelope i have used so far ad they are just amazing. Especally my first buck hassan the escape artist will forever stay in my memory.
But i really womder with the bongo clone, they look quite different, overlap in neither biome or distribution and are if anything a kudu light, if you want to compare them.
But bongos are great too, really learned to love them on my last 2 zoo visits

Everyone talks about how improved the binturong is, how much the tapir still needs to improve, how glitchy the clouded leopard is, how odd of a pick the proboscis monkey is, how we do or don't need more bears or canids... how about using the one it feels like everyone just sort of silently approved of and forgot about: the babirusa, the real unsung hero of the SEA pack?

Funnily enough, I thought the same thing when I saw darthquell's "build it" zoo. I think it would also be something for me to let others choose the animals, I sometimes find it a little difficult.

I choose the anteater for you. :)

Distinct lack of primate nominations so far and I think designing the climbing elements can be such a fun element. I was tempted to go for the orangutan because they require quite a bit of space and some planning to do realistic builds but in the end I think I have to go for the capuchin. Such fun, talkative little guys and with less issues with stress than the lemurs. If you are happy to take a suggestion - I'd love to see an enclosure that had a research area. Just came back from Edinburgh and was fascinated to see the small primates volunteering their time in the research room.
