Choose your allegiance at the start

I like the way the game lets players create their commander at the start with this new update, but I think it could be taken a step further by allowing the players to choose whether or not they want to be an Empire, Federation, Alliance or independent commander and then have the game start them off in a system owned by their chosen faction.
