Think he'd be able to afford a Python.

Don't worry he'll rank up as he completes his mission, so maybe by 2020 he'll be Elite.

(Sorry for the cheap shots, I hope SC does well, but somethings are irresistable.)

not really... they raised tons of money. true, he's a little crazy and goes overboard... but star citizen will be a great game. i'll enjoy both games. it's a shame elite dangerous also didn't have as much money. i'd be enjoying elite more and sooner if so.

...and we shouldn't really be cracking jokes about how long SC takes either of course...it is possible we'll be landing on planets in SC before we are in Elite =) I don't exactly calle Elite "done." We already can walk around our ships in SC, but not in Elite.

That said, this is really funny. My friend and I noticed some Babylon 5 names and such too.

And we can fly around 400 billion systems, trade goods, bounty hunt, smuggle and explore in Elite Dangerous. I think I'll take that over walking around inside a ship in SC.

Elite Dangerous is the same as every other Elite game except Elite is "online" and has okay graphics. X3 lets you do way more with a smaller setting. Not really that much of a big deal.

He jumped me in an asteroid field the other day.
Not sure why everyone is bashing SC. It's not even due out until 2016 or 2017? Seems silly to compare a released game to one that is still in development.

As a backer of both games with no life whatsoever, I would never shoot down Chris Roberts until SC is on their DLC kickstarter campaign.
