With Christmas almost here, I was thinking ( happens sometimes ) that if Frontier decided to create a seasonal community goal for Christmas, what would it be like ?
So I sat on my desk I kept wondering to myself, and found myself imagining some kind of mission that would be given to all pilots throughout the galaxy.
The name ?
Operation : Ho Ho Ho. ( name to be debated )
The mission ?
Depending if you are a trader, pirate, or someone looking for targets like myself.
I order to satisfy a huge unexpected demand of ( toys, Christmas trees, whatever a little christmaiesh that would become a RARE and UNIQUE good for the duration of the event ) Pilots would have to travel to some systems that provide such goods ( very few, but distributed all around the bubble without faction preference ) in order to transport them to systems with very with high demand of such goods. ( WAY more numerous, all the factions are involved ).
The base principle would work like a plain fortification ( Those playing power play know what I'm talking about ). You must reach a quota, once reached you must go to the nearest system that needs those goods.
Where are the pirates involved you may ask, easy.
Pirates would be able to steal the goods, and not having the illegal salvage mark. They could the decide whether to give them to a station, or sell it to the Black Market. ( Christmas goods, because rare and unique could be very profitable, though not as much if given to a station in the long run. )
The trigger happy bunch like myself would be able to escort the traders, hunting down all the pirates that would spawn at a very elevated rate trough the event routes.
But this is just an idea, some of you most certainly would have come with their own and I would love to hear about them.
