There are 5 Laws listed, but the most important one deals with the definition of the condition, IMHO.

So on to my favorite stupid person story:
A man was referred to my trauma unit, listed as having fractured ankle, and unconsciousness. We
found him having huge jagged cuts in his chest, abdomen and one leg additionally.
" How the heck...?" said the intern.
No story was forthcoming till he regained his senses the next day.
It seems that he wanted to make his wife happy.
She wanted a staircase from the basement up to the kitchen. So he decided to begin by cutting a hole in the wooden floor. So far so good.
He decided to use a rotary saw, and went to get it in the basement. Seeing a ladder there, he figured he could skip carrying the tools upstairs.
So he cut a trapdoor over his head, while on the ladder.
It fell on his head, knocking him out.
He fell off the ladder, trapping one ankle.
The running saw dropped on his thigh, and hopped down his body.
