civil war and trading

I got a boat load of gold and flew to a system which supposedly imports it. When I got there the price of gold was rock bottom.

Could it be because the system is at civil war so gold is less important?

I got Battle Weapons and flew to a civil war system. No one wanted to buy them.

Some civil war that is.


As for your question, the export/import info is not actually valid and should not be trusted. Fly your gold to a pure industrial or pure high tech or tourism world, you'll make a profit there.
