Newcomer / Intro Claiming a Reward

I did a fetch mission for a client on board George Lucas Station and when I returned with his goods, he gives a mission successful message but "Give Cargo" is red and will not allow me to choose it. I recently achieved friendly status with this station. is that a possibility?

sounds a bit wrong...dont usually get mission successful messages with collect and return with goods missions.... recheck everything about the mission , right cargo and amount ,right station etc not out of time?? Other than that should be straight forward......
