Claiming bounties

I seem to have amassed a rather large assortment of bounties in my transaction list.

Is the case that at one point or another I'll have to troll across the galaxy to the various jurisdictions to claim these?

A
Yes. General alliance, federation and empire bounties can be turned in at any of their systems. The more specific ones have to be turned in with the factions that issues them.

Hmm, ok, some of these are likely to be in my list for a long time then as none of them are of sufficient value to make me do the journey.
Shame they cant be traded to another player that may be going that way.

And if they're too annoying for you, you can always get into a Sidewinder and Kamikaze yourself to clear your transactions page of them!
