Class 2 Burst Turret

Where to find? I've searched about 10 High Tech stations. Or do they not exist? Is there any C2 burst at all? What other turret would be worth using in the C2 slot for Anaconda? I'm tired of small ships flying out of view to be shot.

Too bad C2 pulse turrets suck. They stop working forever after a short while. Multicannons need ammo increase to be worth using.

C2 Burst turrets don't exist. You can get C2 Beam turrets though.

Why do the C2 pulses "stop working". Seems like a bug, and I don't think changing to beams would help it anyway.
 
For those who have stayed in a RES with an Anaconda, how long did your turreted multicannons last? I hate having to resupply often after getting good spawns

Not long at all. I switch them off and only activate them when I am being pestered by a fighter who is able to out-turn me to force them to change things up.

You could try beam turrets and use pulse lasers on your large hardpoints. The Anaconda has enough power for that.
 
Class 2 Pulse Turrets are currently bugged and basically broken. And anything class 2 burst was forgotten to be implemented, FD confirmed it as an oversight. I really how they will be added in 1.3, I would like to have 2 medium burst lasers on my Cobra. :)
 
Are you saying patch 1.3 will introduce c2 burst?

Seeing as c2 pulse turrets are broken, do c2 beam turrets work?

I don't know whether 1.3 will add class 2 burst lasers, I said I hope it. We know from FD that it was an oversight, but they did not say when this oversight is will be corrected. And afaik, it is only the class 2 pulse turrets that are broken, all others should work.

With enough jiggling, you can get beam weapons in all hard points, but not all of them turrets ;)

I'm using 3 C3 gimballed beamers and the C4 plasma accelerator on the thingymabob. If I put beamy turrets on I think I'd end up without any power left over for all the shield boosters I'm running.

We've no idea whether they're going to fix it in 1.3 or even if a fix will actually work first time. We don't know when 1.3 is coming either.

Your best bet, if you must use laser turrets at the moment, is to use beams.
