Ship Builds & Load Outs Class 4 hardpoints are awful. What's the deal?

OP: I understand your frustration, I think. When I first used the class 4s I was expecting great things and was quite disappointed. I have had some success with the c4 cannon on the Anaconda. I just consider it a short range weapon. It discourages the Federal ships from staying on my nose. A shot or 2 from the c4 and they decide they don't want any more of that.

This, C4 cannons are meant for the bigs. Givin I've taken out PP in one hit on pythons and Condas; I can only imagine the type of pain that would be inflicted on smaller craft.

I don't have that much of an issue tagging large targets sub 800. If the same could be said for medium to smaller craft, the huge cannon would be the I win button.

This is also the reason many large ship cmdr's love the clipper. That ship is a confetti machine when exposed to a c4 cannon.
