Class 6-7 HRP!

At minimum it would be nice to have classes 6-8 HRP made in game for better build diversity. This would open up nicer builds for larger ships so it can have some nicer hull options and more room for utilities. I'm not sure if it matters for other modules. But for Hull based one specifically it would be nice. I would love to condense a few hull modules down to a single large on in some hypothetical builds. I could fit an extra module or two in another area.

This game is definitely lacking customization in the large ship department. It would certainly help with making hull last long enough for shields to regen in broken. Especially with the new guardian shield boosters. It's a bit practical at this point fto at least get more than one chance to regen shields in combat if they get knocked out. It's hard to do this if you use any amount of guardian shield boosters. Hull needs some attention it this point if I'm not mistaken. Using those larger slots could be nice!

I saw another thread from over a year ago suggest putting it behind a tech broker and make you work for it.

what is stopping you from using HRP in these slots today?
The only thing these would bring would be more "hit points". IT would not add resistances, for that you would still need multiple HRPs.

I would argue that guardian shield boosters are mainly for the smaller/medium ships, not the large ships, and thus putting a bunch these in a large ship is a player choice of strategy...

Also you have SCB's that is there to "refill" your shields, and they have no problem in going in these big slots... which in most cases should make your shield last alot longer.

Also what shields are you using and what engineering have you done? of these choices can have negative effect on regen rate and broken regen rate...

So there are plenty of options, but I do understand that if avoid using HRP and instead stuff your ship with other modules, then of course your hull will be weak when the shield goes down. So it comes down to player choices of using existing mechanics, and I doubt that just inflating "hit points", ie by adding bigger sized HRPs, would make any big difference.
