Hey CMDRs,
here are some pics of my Cobra MK III model. Everything but the base is build from scratch using mainly evergreen plastic sheets and profiles. To give it more stability some of the "bones" in the inside are made out of metal. Airbrushed with acrylic colours.
The front plate is laser engraved on aluminium.
To give the hole thing a little more live I added a Coriolis Station build the same way as the Cobra.
This is something I planed a very, very long time ago (since I played ELITE on a Commodore C64 in 1985) and now it became reality!
I hope you Commanders out there enjoy it the same way I do. Feel free to post your comments and critics!
