Engineers Classifying materials

What if instead of "give me these very specific materials", it's rather "get me this types of materials, better quality means lower cost".

So if a recipe requires focus crystals, you could give anywhere from several flawed focus crystals to just a couple of exquisite crystals.
I think this would be the least drastic and impactful change for the better, rather than rehauling the entire process or figuring out which materials spawn too frequently or not frequently enough. This would also probably make it easier to add more materials later as you would just need to extend the class of materials instead of adding potentially a whole new one.

Figured I might as well throw my suggestion into the bin since all the cool kids are doing it these days :cool:
