Clean Room Design - via DDF archive

Imagine, if you care, that the DDF archive is actually reports from one part of your team in an attempt to reverse engineer Elite Dangerous using the clean room design technique to then go ahead to design and build a game of your own. They have played the completed game, and written the DDF threads in their attempt to describe the game to you, so that you and your legion (and infinitely resourced and capable) design, coding, sfx people can make their own game.

What feature would you most like to work on (link the archive in reference preferably) and what would it look like, function in your wildest imagination?

For example: I really like the background simulation and the associated features. If I had the unlimited resources to make it anything I wanted based on that description, I'd have it so that players would gain control of sectors, and enter in to a rogue-like Dwarf Fortress style simulation management, where you could, as a player, designating settings, tasks, and such for the NPCs and systems, and then watch, matrix-style via cameras around the system (planets, cities, stations etc) the results of interactions with players. This would be some sort of mini-game that would be unlocked, perhaps available on tablets/phones etc.

:S

I would think about a network of different games (build up, realtime tactics, down to 3d shooter in conflict szenarioes) wich influence each other by taking place in the ELITE universe and so are visible for all.

... OK... no absynth for me anymore

It is a bit of a coincidence that there has not been a new version of Dwarf Fortress for a while and all of a sudden E:D comes out of the woodwork.
Hmmm suspicious...
I suspect FD of being actually simulated by Tarn in a dwarven complex somewhere. It would explain the jumpers.
:D
