Newcomer / Intro Clear/delete history?

Hey Commanders,

I like to have a clear history at the start of a new session, so is it possible to completely wipe/clear the history of CMDRs met or do you have to delete each entry seperately?

Interesting question and I don't honestly know the answer. I know some other players that do the same so maybe they will happen along and give you the answer.

I was dealing with that this morning.
If there is a way to delete the whole history, I haven't found it. So I ended up deleting dozens of entries one by one.

I sincerely hope there is at least a cap, somewhere and the list won't grow forever if you're not deleting it.
I have now established a new habit of deleting all entries at the end of the session to prevent me being overwhelmed, again.

Are you referring to the "journal" files? I don't think they are using up a lot of space but I would like the option to store them somewhere other than on my C drive.

Related point ... now that we do have the "journal" entries, is there any point in keeping all the "log" files? EDDiscovery just uses the journal files I believe so does E D itself require the ".log" files for anything?
