Clicked UPGRADE and no clue what this launcher is doing to my computer

Disk is going wacko. Can not close window. Is it doing an upgrade or an update? I had the full game i am not sure what i should do. HELP!?

Upgrades often change the disk contents. Patience. Unless it's been an hour - then nuke it from orbit

This patch today seemed a big one - took ages even on an SSD, which at least was quiet
