Client turns black or white - the solution for me

Again and again it happens that the client gets black or white from Elite in the middle of the game and you can not do anything anymore.
Reboot does not help, system check of windows also not. So what to do?

Here is my solution:
Monitor plug (HDMI - DVI, etc.) pulled out briefly and back in, the best in the game and already the problem is resolved.


But that raises a question. Why is that? NVidia drivers can not be, as other games run smoothly. So there has to be a programming error from Frontier that adds that the game loses the connection to the monitor.

This will also fix the error
After several attempts to load a file ....

Never saw this, there are also no bug reports. 'Middle of the game' can be a lot of things - what were you doing? Flying in normal space, SC, landed on a surface, SRV,...?

Also what monitor connection do you use? I still use DVI, no problems with this.

There are bug reports about the game hanging with a black screen unresponsive after logging to the menu or logging out, but this happens only in certain places and only if logging out. This happened to me too.
