Client update download speed

So, am I the only one this happens to EVERY time there's a major update:



0.02 mb/s??? I've checked and other downloads (e.g. steam, ubisoft, etc.) do not suffer the same issue. So, is it everyone, or just me? Internet speeds in my country cop a bad rap but this is nuts.

Any chance there is a better way to download the update rather than through whatever mechanism the launcher uses?

This will happen to me when I am back in Saudi. Fortunately here in London it took less than 30 mins!

Check the launcher options menu, it has an entry for an alternative or multithreaded or whatever download method, that may help.
