Climbing Just Doesn't Look Nice (My Fault?)

I'm sure this has been posted about before, but animals seem to climb with a noticeable gap between their bodies and the thing they're climbing on; I don't have a picture but the Capuchins, for example, will climb up and down while flying through the air, or just float a bit above the pole they're on. I've heard this question reported with the Clouded Leopard, though I assumed for a while this was an issue of my computer lacking proccessing power (I've since upgrade my PC from my previous brick, and the problems remain, but I'd still consider this as a factor). I hate to say it, but I honestly don't like building for climbing animals (especially quick-moving ones like lemurs, monkeys, and big cats) at all, given the totally immersion-breaking climbing. I MEAN NO DISRESPECT TO THE DEVS; the system obviously took lots of time and effort, and for some animals mostly works as intended. But I wish it was a bit more true-to-life, though I know that's a tall task for anyone, and I hesitate to make more demands of the lovely dev team.

Agree, there's definitely some issues but I also acknowledge the amount of work that went into the system, much as you have. To me, what I've noticed it with the most is the Clouded Leopard, but I'll clarify that I don't play with the primates a lot so there could be common issues going on with them as well.
