clip that amused me

Great vid:D
I'm wondering if I was the 'old Etonian'. It could have been me chasing a loose canister around the station interior... it didn't end well (clipped a gantry).

It's in the video description. TV miniseries from 1988 called Piece of Cake.

Ohhhhhhh right!

Was that the one where they were in the Officer's Mess (messing about) sliding down the stairs on trays?

I seem to remember one of my older colleagues saying that was very like reality, but he objected to them talking about "in combat" he felt it should have been "on ops".

And is the guy who the sage is talking to, the same guy who tried to warn everybody about the 2 german tank divisions refitting in Arnhem in "A Bridge too Far"? :)

I think it would be great if someone did a public information film in the same style. A sort of dos-and-don'ts of space station behaviour, complied from the amassed footage captured by the various Alpha participants.
The voice would have to match the one in the video for maximum comedy effect though.
Any Eton boys about?

I love the style of it, old British war pilots sort of thing. Couldn't make out whether or not it was extracted from a film?

"Piece of cake" a 1988 miniseries. Also the clip is available on YouTube.

Thinking of world war fighter pilots... An elite flying jacket, complete with patches from famous missions???
