Clip through terrain

I watched channel5's feature of pixelated Dream Sequencer and when asking how he manages to build underground the host mentions and shows, that you can clip through terrain with the camera which makes getting underground easier, which pixel didn't know of.

He didn't mention the shortcut and I'd love to know how he does this.

Look under Settings > Camera - the tickbox you want is at the very bottom of the options on that page so you may have to scroll down.

Once you've done that you can then use Freelook cam (T) alongside the rotation buttons to go up and down through the terrain.
