Clipper Fuel Capacity

Does anyone else feel like the fuel capacity of the Clipper is too low? I find myself flying around with two extra 8 ton tanks filling up valuable internal compartments just to give it a reasonable range. I don't understand why an Asp or Python have a 32t main tank as medium ships and it wouldn't apply to a large ship? Just my two cents.

Agreed, that's all part of balance. After all, the ship costs 1/3rd of the Python, which is the ship which it compares most closely to.

Because the Imperial ship designers don't care about function?

This one really bugs me. A 5A FSD that uses 5T a jump and a 16T fuel tank. It's like they don't want you to take it anywhere.

Funny I thought it compared more closely with the T7 in terms of cargo capacity and large landing pad and jump range etc... Aside from that I tend to agree. I am a big fan of my clipper. Extremely useful as is.
