Clock on the HUD

Now that we have missions that require being in a certain place at a certain time, or holding on to something for a set period of time, what would be incredibly useful would be a clock on the HUD. Am I mistaken or is the clock only visible when docked and in the station services? This is not much help when out in the black.

I am finding that I have to check the time on my cellphone as I play full screen rather than windowed and I have no clocks on the wall in my room (and I don't where a wristwatch). But even if I did have these things I think the game should be able to be played fully in-game.

So we need a clock on the HUD.

So we need a clock on the HUD.

I'm pretty sure the game would only be able to give you server time. They could always add an option to give you +- hours to show local time though.

In the meantime, get an X52 Pro, or something watch-shaped from the 99p store :D

It gives you the time when in station services so why can't it give you that time on the HUD? Don't you think it is immersion destroying to be buzzing around and then think "oh yeah - gotta meet that guy at 11:30 - what's the time now?" so you leave the game to look at the real time, convert that in your mind to, admittedly, the same time in 3301 or whatever the year is, and then re-enter the game? FFE2 could do it.
