Close to 'inhabit' space Find...

A very pleasant surprise yesterday.
My home (at the moment) is at Pratchetts' Disc, as I have found that you only need to go a couple of hundred LY to get to uncharted and unclaimed space. However making my way out again yesterday, so only around 60LY out, not only an unclaimed and uncharted system but the best was an Earth like world too... (my number 8).
So the moral of this little story is don't dismiss those systems close to 'Inhabit' space...

I've very simmilar experiances. On my way out into the great unknown I stumbled upon a few undiscovered systems with ammonia worlds and other goodies. My belief is that most commanders just jump towards their desierd destination and don't spend time to chart something closer to inahbited space.
Eather that or we're just lucky
