Cmdr at Dav's Hope is stuck

I know we can't mention names here, but the great great great grandson numerous time of the late great Chuck Jaeger is stuck on the gate going into Dav's Hope. I've done what I could in my modified explorer conda; But with almost no shields, I'm restricted as to how much I can do. My hull is at 17% so I gotta quit.
In addition, I've no idea as to how to communicate so I'm not sure if he is even in the ship or it's just a glitch.

I am unclear as to whether your ship is stuck in the gate or your SRV is stuck in the gate. Either way though, simply log out of Horizons and log back into the base game Elite Dangerous.

Your ship should spawn, in orbit, with the SRV stowed. Good luck. o7

I'm not stuck the other cmdr is stuck. I managed to get him unstuck but now he's just pointing at the ground. My hull is to low and I have to leave.
Though it might be a glitch but after several board hops and two complete shut downs and restarts; He's still there.
Been there more times than I'd like to admit and never say anything like it.
